Orchids, Bromeliads and Tillandsias:

Some recent pics to try this host [postimage.org] out:

Dendrochilum magnum

Dendrochilum glumacium

Purple Catt Hybrid

New Ananas comosus [Pineapple] Patch

Tillandsia cyanea

Bromeliad "Robin"

Ascda. Thai Spots 'Bow'

Red Catt Hybrid

Tillandsia Hybrid

OK, I am posting it and then will go back with another browser and access this post from a VPN to see if there is any difference in how is it displayed for me.
Hopefully it will be suitable for family and work.

EDIT:
If you click on the bar over the photos for a larger sized image, it opens another tab with a slightly larger photo and ads that are somewhat lower in quality. They appear to be borderline family/work. I do not see how to disable the bar over the pic. Give me some feedback on acceptability.

I think your pictures are very good, beautiful blooms! The pictures, when enlarged are not much larger and the adds are a bit annoying. Overall in my opinion, the pictures are very good without enlargement.

So many members have the thumbnail pics that when enlarged are blurry and not large at all. I would be happy with these without the enlightenment + adds.

Love your orchid heaven!!!

Lovely pictures, as usual. The ads are corny, not offensive ( thanks for bring so considerate) and enlarging not necessary.

That cattleya is really nice

Also, for really big size pics, I like to use image.ibb.co:

No ads and it's a "click to enlarge" thing.

I clicked on the images to see them full size, but I don't see the ads that you are talking about. There is only the black background around the photo.

I'm also looking for another photo hosting site, I want to move away from Flickr now that Verizon bought Yahoo. Right now I'm trying Piwigo and quite like it, but need to write a plugin for it to be able to generate the bcc codes necessary to post large minatures on OB (like in this thread).

Nice photos by the way, the colors and tropical atmosphere of them make me forgot (for 2 seconds) how dreary and miserable the weather is this morning.

I think those are my photos (Check the poster) . The ones that voyager posted have a bar at the top and they link to a postimage page.

I was opening the correct photos- attached is a screenshot of what I see.

But I just discovered that I have an ad free version because I have OB open in private navigation (am on my lunch break at work). If I open it in a normal browser window, I also get the extra junk around the photo...

For several years I used Photobucket for my pics. Recently they went stupid. The site is now an ad mill, making it difficult to even get to your pictures. At the same time, they have ignorantly changed their policies, demanding an annual fee of $400/year if you want to use the site to post pictures to other sites.

I'm moving over to Imgur, which is easy to use, no ads, and FREE.

I see Voyager's photos in the message at a good size. They don't force the Orchid Board page to expand past my browser window on my desktop, which happens with a lot of other photos people post here. I have to scroll sideways to see those other people's very large photos.

I don't see the bar Voyager mentions. When I click on his photos, a new browser tab opens with the home page of postimages.org . I do not see a larger image of the photo posted to Orchid Board. Maybe that has to do with me using ad blocking software?

His photos are beautiful.

When I click on Bulbopedilum's photos I am taken to a new browser tab showing only the large JPG file.

Bulbopedilum's photos are also beautiful.

You need to click the text bar just above the image, and not the image itself.
