That looks like it could be a spring house? Not quite sure. I have seen spring houses in Georgia that were nothing more than structures built over a seep coming out of the soil.

Yeah, those are everywhere down here. When I lived in Charlotte there was a house in my neighborhood that was a FLW house. I was madly in love with it.
By the way, had FLW been a Georgian then Falling Waters would have been a still built by a creek.
