The Second Prothonotary Warbler!
So, I know I said these were rare and we were lucky to see one in and around NYC per year. But hey, I guess they don't always read the book. This one was hanging out in a salt marsh also, just like the Brooklyn one. Except this one was in Nassau County near Jones Beach. This one seem brighter than the last. Fearless as always allowing for some great photographic opportunities. Even in cloudy conditions this bird is bright enough to get great pics.
