The flowers are Lamium purpurea, which is a mint only about 5 inches tall.

We see these warblers here (Georgia) pretty regularly, and they are beautiful.They don't spend a lot of time in New York, kinda flying through for a quick visit before returning a bit South. You were quite fortunate to encounter this bird, much less to get such beautiful photos of it!
