Where are you? We had two run across the yard last Saturday and fly over the road to the neighbors. Then we saw a flock of about 20 across the highway and another 4 a road over. Yes! Love is in the air, three have crashed into windshields in the last week...One a state trooper on the Indiana toll road. Love apparently make you blind, too.

Eastern Iowa - We live in a wooded area right in the center of Cedar Rapids. I have a picture taken a month ago...24 of them walking across our street! There are way more than ever the last couple years.

Safer than lovey dovey deer season though!

Used to go there every year! We often have Hawks nesting here too. Don't see as many deer as we used to before we put up the tree stand.😉

He's putting on quite a handsome display for her, but she seems to be playing hard to get. I live on eleven acres in a semi-rural area, but I've only seen turkeys on our property twice, and each time it was a big flock of a couple dozen or so. I did come home from a vacation one time to find a peacock inside my fenced yard. That was a mystery!

I used to live in Council Bluffs Iowa. I'd always see turkeys running a round in yards, and also big Canadian geese. Lots of wild life prancing through yards in Iowa.

Here in Phoenix all the turkeys are at the Capitol Building.
