Default passport help

Hi everyone!
I'm needing to get a passport for a trip to England in January, 2009. Has anyone gotten their passport? What's the best way to go about this? When do you go and get your picture done? Any help would be awesome and save me lots of time and frustration.

Default Carolyn, if you go to England

Try to see the Eric Young Foundation on Jersey. I have seen slide shows of that place. An orchid lover's dream!!

Your Post Office should be able to help you with all the paper work and the photo. If your "local" Post Office (branch) doesn't provide the service the Main Post Office in your city will have the facilities.
Easiest way that I know of.
Hope this helps,
Al

You guys are lucky to be able to go to the post office to have it done! it sure simplifies matters. I needed to redo mine since I'm doing part of my Msc in the USA next year and it's too complicated here!
I had to call the american consulate, wait over 1 month for an appointment, go to only consulate approved photographer of the city, then haul my butt to the appointment and fork out lots of money to have it done!

Wow
Camille - Did they look into your high school personal file and do a character check on you, too?
(You can use me as a reference )
Did they ask you for your first born child?

Any chance you will get to the "Kew Gardens" in London during your visit? They have a wonderful orchid collection. Kew: A year at Kew: Places: Kew Gardens: Princess of Wales Conservatory: Orchids
And all the glass houses are great to walk through.
