This was a brutal hike, nearly 4000 feet of elevation the first three miles through 57 switchbacks!

Excellent photos and blog. Wow. What a wonderful place. Love the sooty grouse. Nice find.
Mount Forgotten. Funny, this weekend I was doing a storytelling excerise with my 5 year old daughter and it starts like this "On the island of the Forgotten Mountain,". Great stuff!!!
