Default Turtle, 1/2 pint

While taking my pup for her morning pee she found this baby in the road at the edge of our driveway. It looked dead, head down, eyes closed. I picked it up and brought it inside. I put it in a container with room temp well water and it perked right up. I live on a fairway and the mowers were out this morning, I think this little one got lucky. There is a large farm pond across the highway behind our house and I'm guessing this may be where it was heading.

I plan to let it go tomorrow after my daughter gets home to see it. She has a thing for turtles. It's very cute!
