Thanks guys, I took the pictures of the BT Blue at Prospect Park in Brooklyn NY. In other words, smack dab in the middle of Brooklyn.
This is a case of if you build it they will come and if you look you shall find.

So I took this picture yesterday. It's the same species as the picture from the quote above. You can compare how they change from Spring to Fall.

Warblers
---------- Post added at 06:11 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:04 PM ----------
[/COLOR]Well, I lost my reply. We see lots of migrating species here around Lake Michigan. A few weeks ago we saw two immature Sandhill Cranes in a bean field. They appeared to be molting and it was very cool ! Soon we will go to Kingsbury Fish and Game preserve to watch hundreds of them. Although they often fly over and are seen feasting and dancing in the local harvested fields. Amazing, miraculous and beautiful. Your pictures are a slice of heaven. Thank you.

Thank you for the kind words. I saw my first Sandhill Cranes for NY State this past summer. Distant but definite views. They appear to be increasing here in NY. Previously I had seen a small family of them on someone's lawn in Florida. I thought that was incredible.
