Grand Pooh-Bah Amaryllis
This the biggest, and oldest one I have. It was a gift when I moved about eighteen years ago. This year it outdid itself. The stem is three feet tall, and it put out five blossoms, each eight inches across. The second pic shows it with my 'normal' plants this year. These guys sure can put on a show!

Beautiful! I love seeing it next to your phal that is in bloom! It makes the orchid flowers look so tiny!

HUGE! That's a big flower! It looks like a bread plate in size!

Cool! I salute those of you who can rebloom them!
I've given up on them accept as disposable plant. I've never been able to get them to rebloom and the foliage is far to unremarkable to justify the space they take up in my little apt.

Gorgeous!
Is Grand-Poo Bah the given name of the Amaryllis? or did you name it after Fred Flinstone's Water Buffalo Lodge Leader?

Actually Dorothy, I named it after a character from The Mikado, by Gilbert and Sullivan, but I think I like your idea better.

Wonderful! I have one that looks pretty similar. It doesn't flower every year, and often much later than you'd think, but then I must repot it and pay it more attention! They're tough little critters! I rarely remember to feed mine!
