Anacampseros Sunrise
A beautiful little summer growing/winter dormant hybrid succulent of South African origin. The flowers open in bright sun and close up for the night. Care is identical to Lithops, full sun and regular watering in the summer, brightest possible artificial light and no water over the winter. It easily takes low 40s while dry.

Anacampseros look best in full sun, even in Phoenix! They are close relatives of the common moss rose, Portulaca. They have amazing little bird cage seed capsules. If you can harvest the seed, it is very easy to grow - just keep seedlings wet to moist. Seed is not viable for more than a year.
