Default snow snow snow!

I am sounding like a broken record, but I am slowly going insane with all this snow! Today has been even worse with snow since midnight, all day today, and now sleet and freezing rain that will probably make the power lines too heavy and we'll lose power.....Again!
Check out these pics taken today. The picture of the mailbox is crazy...there is suppose to be a fence behind it, but all you see is a couple nubs. All the rest were taken from windows that usually has a view. Not any more! Snow snow snow! kiki

Looks like you have a little snow there ...

Too bad you didn't have a couple giant vats to collect it in and have it to water your orchid with once it melts
Can't get any water purer than that

Default My cousin, who lives in Michigan

and I jokingly call that a light dusting! One time they had 4 feet and I told him that I heard that they had gotten a light dusting.

I know what you mean (after all "we" sent it to you ) But I must admit you have us beat! Here's a few from today here in Michigan

You can see where I just had my roof shoveled in prep for next storm tonight - it really is a satisfaction to know I don't have but a couple inches up there as of now (it'll be to you in a day or 2 - we're getting 6-8" tonight ) You're welcome

Here's the deck furniture (or what we hope to find in the spring, anyways) Oh, yeah... the white thing below the left hand window is the exhaust for our furnace. We have to dig it out to keep it clear!

And to think that meanwhile here in the Netherlands we are enjoying an early spring! The crocuses and snowdrops are in full bloom, the daffodils will be flowering within a week or two, and some of the very early tulips are out. This past weekend was warm enough for us to ditch the winter coats and go relax on the beach. Didn't last though since this week is going to be near freezing. At least we got the flowers!

so far we had about 70cm in the total with 3 dumpings within 1.5 weeks... thats 2x the amount of snow we would normally get in one normal toronto winter, haha

No more Ross, no more! Please!
I think I will visit Camille in the Netherlands!!
I won't go to Moscow...looks too familiar!
This is such a great site. Where else would I see a fellow orchid grower's pictures of winter in their country? Or such a vivid description that I want to run there in a heartbeat! I love this site! (wanted to say that before the power goes out) kiki
