Default Snow? Anyone ever been to Canada?

I know you guys have a lot but please don't keep sending it to us! ha ha. I know this is going to make you all terribly jelous but we are off to Cuba on Saturday! Just a week so hopefully my orchids will be ok. I'll have a pina colada for you!

Kiki,
I like your cactus and succulent collection. I am a big cactus fan.

I once lived in the frozen north and I remember waking up in the morning to go to work and I dreaded to look out the window for fear of seeing tons of snow. I know what you are experiencing and I feel for you.

Thank you all for all your imput on this thread. It's been a fun read with lots of enthusiastic postings.
Thanks Jerry for the compliment on my cactus collection.
I have so many different plants, I can't keep track. From Bonsai, African Violets, Passiflora, Tillandsia, to regular houseplants and my absolute favorites....orchids!!! Sometimes it is overwhelming, but in a good way. I use to laugh at my Mom with all her paper cups with soil in them and just about every type of fruit, vegetable, or flower seed in each one..... all over the kitchen windowsills....thinking I will never have such a clutter of nonsense. Yup, I am my Mom!

Well Punxsutawney Phil did predict another 6 weeks of winter!! Groundhog's day was 3 weeks ago, so according to that oversized rodent, spring comes midmarch. So keep on shoveling Dorothy!! It looks so pretty though with the snow!

I feel you pain... I remember having to shovel a good 24-30 inches of snow off the driveway during the blizzard of '96 down in nothern VA. And I still got my usual measly $5 a week allowance for that. Cruel parents!!

Default Dorothy, perhaps we should form a duet

I am ready for winter to be over. I am sick and tired of cold, nasty weather!
