It's a venomous fish, yes. It's one of my charges at work, so it's mine until someone buys it! I've worked with a number of them over the years, and this one is the best eater by far. It has taken frozen silversides from my hand.

Yes it's wild collected. These have always been rare in the trade. I can't remember ever seeing two in the same place at the same time. This is likely due to their cryptic nature and excellent camouflage. They look like the seaweeds they live among and rarely move except to eat, except for an odd swaying motion which is probably meant to mimic seaweed moving in the current.
