There is one growing in my neighborhood. They have it growing on a fence, but its reddish in colour. Funny thing, this summer I went on a birding trip far from the city and carpooled. The guy I carpooled with is a parks department guy with a major plant fetish...I mean hobby, just like me. We got to talking about my neighborhood trees and he had noticed a plant growing on someone's fence and described. He figured I would never know what he is talking about. I spit out the name Ipomoea and he was surprised anyone else would even notice the plant. I guess we plant nerds geek out over the same stuff.
Thanks for sharing.
