We don't have the weather to grow outside, summer is like 10-20 degrees, maybe 25 if your lucky But it change to fast for plants to like it.

Today is a nice day- and I'm hoping the flies cant resist taking a closer look on these guys 😎👍

Hopefully they get some nutrition during the day If the sun gets to hot, I'm gonna take the phals inside- I have then mounted in the pots I made, to make it easier considering the different needs in orchids vs carnivorous.

Just be careful about the phals, they can burn easily in the sun, espeically if not used to it.

I can see quite sharp shadows behind them which usually means it's too bright for Phals.

Thanks- I will consider taking them off the mount, and put them inside or a bit more shady.

Lol- I was thinking the wind might make up for the sun

Its some new, cheap noid phals from Ikea- I dont experiment with my older plants😎
(But thats no reason for killing them in the sun, they are still kinda cute)

But its so fascinating just observing how insects are attracted to the flowers😎😃

A breeze can help a bit, but often not much. It's all about how hot the leaves get. I was told once to feel the leaves and if they feel warm then it needs moving into the shade, if they are still cool to the touch then it should be OK a bit longer (but you have to be careful and keep checking if you try that)

The carnivores are looking great. I don't have enough light to grow those well.

I can tell you the phals agreed with you… The small ones, the bigger one is still okay.

And the carnivorous with the flower didnt like it either.

Oh well, they will get better😎

So: dont do this at home…
