I still hope you do as well. It'll blow your mind. Unfortunately we've called it off on our part. Sorry guys. Maybe another show or next year.

Well there's still time for me to change my mind. I'll probably wait til morning to make my final decision. I've barely left the house except for work all winter so I would like to do something fun!

Well, since we started the winter off on Dec. 3rd with 18" of snow and it's has been building ever since, what's another 6 to 8 inches tonight. I've totally forgotten what it looks like outside with some color other than black and white and the coating of 1/2" of ice predicted for the end of this storm isn't going to help any.
On the up side, I hope to get to see some 'chids on the 9th (Kiki-do, are you still going?) and next week I take delivery on a baby Maltese puppy. Now, that should get me through the rest of this season and I'll have the joy of a new pup playing on the fresh green grass and orchids on the patio enjoining the fresh air. Ah, spring, bring it on!!

Yes, I plan to go but only if the weather is decent. I don't like "challenging drives."
Wow, that is quite a puppy! When you get him, take some pics and post them, okay? And make sure you teach him to stay away from your chids! Puppies love to chew! kiki

Not to worry KiKi-do, she will be fine with the 'chids, they are all up high and she is only 3# and 5" at the shoulder. Will post some pics when she gets settled in and I am used to the "the newspaper is over here" game.
Same here with the weather. Let's hope it will be one of those few 'nice' days. I'm really looking forward to it. Forgot to tell you all that a friend gifted me with a P. equestris v. alba today so it has been a great week!

I call a challenging drive being detoured on to the interstate at 5:00am in the morning on the way to work because a tornado has just touched down outside of town. Its pitch black rain is pouring in buckets… then having to speed up to about 60 miles an hour to just get on the interstate and then this huge semi truck comes whizzing by you from out of the dark at the same time you merge with the traffic…talk about having the crap scared out of you… This was Christmas day of 2006…later that day Daytona had a tornado too. I went through two of them in same day...

Yikes Jo Ann! You win!!!!! I have never been anywhere near a tornado, never mind a morning comute to work with one looming all around....holy cows....batman! Now I would have stayed home from work, I think. I am a total chicken driving in snowstorms and sleet conditions. I never use to be when I was younger. I think I am like a cat with nine lives and think I've experienced maybe 7 of the 9. I err on the side of caution now.
Are you a Stephen King fan???? I noticed your quote at the bottom. kiki

Hey folks, how's your weather? Male
Default A few years ago, two tornadoes touched down in

Springfield, one, less than a mile from our home. It tore the roofing off of our neighbors house and threw it against our siding, topped the neighbor's tree behind us, dropped all kinds of limbs out of the trees in our front yard and scared the hell out of my wife and myself. We were watching the weather report, and the weatherman, whose name is Gus, but I call Guess says, "Well, the storm has just about passed us." At that point, the TV went off and all of the sudden, it sounded like a train. We got to an inner part of the house (where there was the most protection) and rode it out. They were working on rebuilding for months here in Springfield.

Ol Guess doesn't have a clue, huh? Tornados are so dangerous. They would scare me to death.
We have a saying about the weather here in Maine: "If you don't like the weather, just wait a minute." It is soooooo true! kiki
