Default Trachyandra

Does anyone know anything about them?

So far, I know they are African for the most part but just started looking into them.

Are they difficult to acquire? Difficult to cultivate?

I think I'm looking at tortilis but a lot of the pics in Google search seems to be mislabeled.

Ask in shops for cactus and succulent plants. Sometimes seeds are offered.
I have no personal experience with that genus, but think they are not tricky if you can grow succulent plants from Madagascar and Namaqualand/Kalahari.
It is related to our Mediterranean Asphodeline lutea, which grows easily in my garden.
