This epicacti has been generous this year..and I think this will be its last bloom for the season..so just sharing the fun once more when it slowly unfurls and blooms, it started early evening yesterday. It is of the same kind that bloomed in May.
That is a great Epi flower with lots of notable characteristics. I bet you could find its name if you go looking online. Almost all Epis sold are named hybrids; most hybridizers trashed unworthy seedlings.

Epicacti flower from last year's shoot. They need a dry rest period of 6 weeks to flower. There are hundreds of registered hybrids and even more unregistered, so exact identification is nearly impossible.
