Mine hasn't had an issue. I don't even unpot mine. During the summer, it sits out on my balcony in full sun. Leave it out until we get some frosts. Clip off any dead leaves and any "occupied" traps. Bag the pot somewhat loosely (bag is also perforated with some tiny holes) and pop it in the back of the fridge. I check it once a month or two just to make sure it doesn't get too dry. Pulled it out sometime this past March and set it on a chilly windowsill. My plant is 4 or 5yrs old now .... maybe older.
