Fall migration has begun and so many of the same warblers we saw in the Spring look like new species. Here is a Common Yellowthroat Warbler. Its lost or is developing its distinctive bandit mask.
This is one of the most common warblers whose song sound like a witchity witchity witchity. They tend to hang out below eye-level.

Your camera is amazing. Can even see the yellow dotted eyeliner on the lower lid! So fashion forward!

Thanks guys!! Here is another. The Magnolia Warbler. It looks totally different in the Spring than in the Fall (in the bird world we are already in the Fall season).

Dear All,

Getting good photos of these little gems has been difficult considering that so few have passed by us this fall. Seems like migration just keeps getting worse and worse with every passing year. But here is one of the very common warblers of the Americas, with possibly the largest breeding range of all the warblers. The Yellow Warbler is a true Jewel in the spring with resplendent yellow and orange streaks on the breast. Nevertheless there is beauty in it still in the fall season.

Cute! Even without his bright feathers! I enjoyed one of these feeding on bushes next to the cottage we rented on one of the Thousand Islands this summer!

Thanks for sharing!
