Dear All,

Here is a new one. Yellow-rumped Warbler. Sometimes they are so numerous that the trees are dripping with them as was the case on the day of this photo. Every tree in the park seemed to have 4-5 of them. Because they are so common, they sometimes are underappreciated and become a "dirt bird", but I will always see the beauty in them.

Sorry the picture quality on this one is not so good.

Wonderful. I just love the birds, well I'm not so keen on the starlings but they have there place I guess. OK I hate the ravens they come and kill my little birds.

Thanks so much for the photos.

Get your self a Chihuahua, mine will go after ravens and crows but she won't hurt the smaller birds or the bunnies in the yard she will just chase the small birds just watch them fly off, she not sure about the bunnies so she barks at them then goes about doing what every it is she does best other than sun her self.

Here is the latest. The American Redstart. The female lacks all the black that the male has.

Great pictures. That last one has stunning colouring with the yellow against the black.

Stunning fotos of these little guys! Haven't seen them here in Ocean Co. NJ and still waiting to see hummingbirds and butterflies...late for us this yr. Let me know when your bird book is available! BTW...check out Cornell Lab Bird Cams for real time live visits to different nests around the country!

Well, I have 3 pains in my ass right now. Them stinkin Ravens, I would be afraid they might run off with a Chihuahua. We also have allot of eagles her both Bald and Golden. There the mean ones, I have come across one standing while I was walking the dogs in the hills. I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't fly away. Oh I see, it had a dead lamb a way's off that it had picked up peaked a hole in it's guts.

There hell on baby lambs here.

Wow, amazing. I consider myself lucky if I see a Golden Eagle around here. I get to fill out a special report and everything if one shows up.

Thanks all for the kind comments. Migration is really picking up and I hope to share more soon.
