It's not a very common variety.
I like the color but how it is marked as if red was airbrushed and sprayed on white.
I love these!

4 Flower Stalks on my Amaryllis!
Default My Amaryllis Window :)

Here is an update!

The other stalks have caught up fast and now I have three stalks in full glory.
Well, the first stalk is now beginning to drop the two oldest flowers. These don't last very long at all, which is a main drawback.
The last stalk is about to pop open.

Another down side is that all the newly emerging leaves have this red blotch disease marks this year.
I don't know why as this one has been clean in the past few years. Oh, well...
I hope it's not something that will jump on the orchids.

But for now, I will just enjoy the flowers.
These are very pretty!

Really gorgeous flowers.

Mine is just a plain standard colouring, but I've just noticed a third flower spike emerging (3 on 2 bulbs). Yet to see how many flowers I will get per spike. I think I may be caring for it better now as it's struggled in the past, but seems to be doing well so far this year.

I get red patterning on the leaves from high sun, but it's more a shading across the whole side facing the sun, rather than a blotching. Hope it's nothing to bad on yours.

Great to know yours is doing well now.

Yep, mine definitely has Red Blotch disease. The red areas look like rust and raised.

It also has this very light green areas which started on a couple of leaves last year, but this year, every single new leaves so far have it on them.
I'm thinking mosaic virus.

Thanks.

Well, the flowers are basically blocking the city view, but they are making a nice view of their own.
