Our big dog does try to eat the babies if he sees them. She put it in her truck probably to eat it. Snapping turtle is tasty, but I won't harvest them in season.

That's my thought turtle soup yewwwww. Better get well summer is coming. You should make a trip to Sturgis for the bike rally. I have never been but I guess it can be a hoot. You can't believe all the people! I had to take dear hubby to Rapid city during it and so we had to go right by it on the interstate. Bikes everywhere.

I usually stay away from that area when it's on, but you see so many motorcycles all over it's crazy.

They have trick riding

You all be nice to motorcycles and look twice. Give them room. Most of us motorcyclist arent idiots and we see you long before you see us. So please do not run us down texting on your phone and may god help you if you do run over someone doing other things than driving. PSA brought to you by RJ "MotoSquirrel"..He really can fly!!!

Wow, that looks so cool! Hmmm, maybe I need to show this to my boyfriend... Hope that it's be enough to get cars off your butt! Just by riding as a passenger behind my boyfriend I've become much more aware of what's going on on the road, and am shocked by how many car drivers simply don't look or pay attention.

My mother was a fine example of this a few days ago. We were off to do some shopping together, and she wanted to change lanes, and cut right in front of a motorcycle which even I could see in the sideview mirror, forcing him to slam on the brakes. So of course I scolded her. Her reaction? "Oh but I had my turning signal on well before I changed lanes, it's his problem if he didn't see it in time." She only glanced in the mirror long enough to see that there wasn't a car behind her...

Let me know when you get the flame thrower installed!!

Looks cool!

Just being married to an ex-biker I've become more aware of bikes, because of the stories he's told me of stupid things cars do around bikes. He says bikers are far more aware of everything on the road, both when on their bike and when behind the wheel of a car, than most car drivers and I know he's right. I try and let it rub off on me, hopefully it does

I swear sometimes cars think that bikers see them and therefore should be the ones to give way. A little equal treatment would stop a lot of accidents. I know I am way more aware of traffic, etc. since getting my cycle license.
