Matt? I cant afford one either thats why Im taking the contract to the credit union and renegotiate the loan. Its stupid high interest and they 1st time buyered me. They do that after they tell you congrats then they hit you with a dog doo sno cone in your left eye.
Glad to see some motorcycling fans here. I think Im going to join the "Sons of Arthritis"..I hurt already. Was cold drivin home too. I forget to get my gloves and coat!!!
This is a Softail Slim. A Very low 23.8 inches off the ground. Its 'Midget Certified'. I sat on all of them and this is just about the only big bike that I could plant me feet, both of them on the ground. Very important not to struggle holding the bike steady whilst parked at a red light.
AND I tell you to these bikes are made for the O.C.D bunch, I want seat, pipes, led lights, etc etc etc.
I only put 80 miles on it today and I got tired. I forgot how much energy it takes to hang on to the handlebars going down the road at 70. I feel like I got stretched a little. Hope it clears up and Im back to 5'5"..
I have a whole new perspective driving in to work now. I want to ride right on by.......

I take it you got to St Alphonso's ok after your injury. Hope the defliction doesn't have any long term effects on your riding!

I can totally relate Camille. Or in our case, lower 5! Hahahaha I too am planning on learning to ride and getting my license but that's for a later time after I've completed all the home renovation projects.
And that bike RJSquirrel, is totally awesome!

500 miles and the only thing that hurts is my face where I cant get rid of the smile
I think I had one them 'absence seizures' on it. I got on it to go to galveston and before I knew it was sucking up sand and seawater 65 miles away

That's my kind of seizure , I have them when I get behind the wheel of my 59 Caddy convertible we might be old but still look good on the road.

been raining so I put on some new parts. I had to get the handle bars back some added risers to the bars.Im comfy now and both feet can touch the ground!! also added some engine guards. They arent so much to guard the engine as much as they are to guard you from getting crushed between the bike and a wall. The bike weighs in just under 850lbs 420 kgs and I cant pick it up if it falls on me.
Thanks you all I hope you are having some fun too
