Default Aloe somaliensis var. marmorata

A gorgeous species, I sooo want one. Again, from the New York Botanical Gardens from a visit last month.

Oh that's a nice species. Was it a large plant? It kind of reminds me of my Aloe harlana. The flowers seem to be a brighter red, and the mottling/variegation on the leaves is a bit different, though.

Yes, the flowers were about 4-5ft tall. The plant was maybe 1 1/2 feet wide.

Wonderful,

I have an aloe but I don't know what it is more than that. Actually I have four plants of it because it grows so fast. The flowers have similar shape/colour to this one but it's much smaller and the leaves are different. Next time it flowers I'll have to take pics and see if you know what it is.
