My wife brought an 8" home from Hawaii about 25 years ago. It looked dry and unhealthy (what did I know). we didn't even know what kind of plant it was but we planted it anyway. Since then its grown and grown until we had to start cutting limbs off and replanting them.
Now there are five plants growing out of a plastic container and all but one have sprouted new branches.
We live in Western Connecticut and have to bring it (them) in for the winter. Some winters all the leaves fall off but in others they mostly remain.
Flowers for us seem to be a hit and miss thing; sometimes they start to form flower stems before they go outside, but sometimes they don't flower at all.
I have no idea as to various sizes, I know I'm going to have to start cutting the plants back and replant them that as they are not they are almost too heavy to lift and they spread so it is almost impossible to get they through the doors.
