About 90 here ...
And only supposed to get down to 58 tonight ... and I'm too tired now to change the warm bedding for something lighter after doing a bunch of stuff outside

********
So, after typing the above, I got motivated to get lighter sheets on the bed, at least

A week ago we had a foot of snow, today it's in the 60's. My orchids spent the night outside getting some fresh spring rain. They're back in today as temps will be dipping again. Hopefully no more snow, though.

I guess the weather systems don't read the books. What should normal temps be in LA at this time of the year?
Winter seems to have finally broken here in NYC as of the beginning of this week. Massive snow melts. What really keeps me indoors rather than out bird watching is the high winds we've been getting since Feb.

97 at my house. Thank god I watered.
The hot gusts of wind here aren't helping.
I'm hoping we get rain after.

At this time of year. In my area of SoCal. It should be anywhere from 45 to 70 during the day.

97! Wow - and we were so happy to see 58 degrees today....we are in the same shape as CambriaWhat - two days ago I was stepping over piles of snow in the parking lot at work and today I was got hot walking from the store to my van.
Spring is not officially here, but nature has always had it's own (and in our area, rather bizarre) calendar. I still expect a few more frosts before we are on the safe side in the upper Midwest. But I have daffodils up about 2 inches with a few bloom bud tips showing!

I'm so not a hot weather person either.
And I don't have air conditioning. Actually I don't like air conditioning... Why do I complain about not having it?

Like WhiteRabbit I need to change to summer sheets.

My garden isn't too thrilled either. My new plants didn't like being planted right before a heatwave.
