Default Tillandsia "creation"

Got this a few years ago from Tropiflora in Florida, its a cross between T. cyanea and T. platyrhachis.

Very fragrant flowers of berries, flowers are about 1.5" across, pot is 8" in diameter.

Grow in intermediate to warm GH.

Easy to grow and I think, one of the most beautiful Tillandsia plants I have ever seen.

I agree. This is without question, the most beautiful Tillandsia hybrid. It's been on my wishlist for as long as I can recall, I think I first saw it in Tropiflora's catalog back in the early to mid 2000's.

The only reason I don't have one is the question of space. I simply don't have room for it, and it can grow to become a beast. It's something that doesn't fit under lights so well.

I'm guessing that is Tillandsia duratii, a lovely species for sure, and nice smelling flowers.
