Glad to see some African flora posted on OB.
Ellenbeckii is infact on the threaten list on Aloe speices - native to Ethiopia and Kenya.

Yup, most of these Aloes are hailing from Africa. I'll be posting more.
I remember seeing lots of aloe types in flower in Ethiopia when I went in 2009. I had no way of ID'ing them at the time. Its too bad.
