Mine blooms like clockwork every May, but it surprised me by blooming now as well. Probably won't go again this May, but I'm hoping.

Huh, I never detected any scent from these flowers. Thanks for the heads up, I will have to stick my nose in the tank and find out.

Intensity will vary from plant to plant, but it's usually strong enough to notice from a couple feet away. Strongest in morning to mid-afternoon, usually. I think the light source makes a difference, too. Natural sunlight seems to trigger the strongest fragrance, where as with artificial light, it will be more faint. There may be other factors that affect it as well.

Yup mine is under artificial lights and I have never smelled anything. I will try it though.
