Anyone else have an Aerogarden?

Has anyone else tried one of these or any other hydroponics system?
I have been extra interested in trying hydroponics ever since one of our members gave a talk at our Orchid Society about growing her orchids hydroponically. I have seen greenhouses where food crops are grown this way and read articles but it always seemed so complex.
Then, this Christmas, I received a gift card and while browsing yesterday, saw one of these kits. I bought it. It is built on a much smaller scale than what our speaker's systems are but it seems based on the same concept.
So, anyone else trying hydroponics?
