Default Help with African violet

Hello, I need a help with an African violet. I had it for a few months and it had trippled in size. It never bloomed however. It grows up right like a little tree. I have other violets and they look like they are supposed, flat and wide leafed. Also I don't have problems with blooming them.
My question is: is this particular one should look like that (see picture) or there is something wrong with it. How to get it to bloom?
Thank you

I would try giving it a little more light. With AVs, the leaves will grow upwards instead of flat if they are not getting enough light. That would also explain the lack of blooming. Your plant may need more light than your other AVs. Slowly increase the light and see how she responds.

I also have a few AVs from Violet Barn, very nice and healthy plants.

I have Golden Eye semi-min from violetbarn. No blooms yet but it sits on edge of grolights and is gradually spreading out to a more roundish shape. I would email them for some help. Good luck!

Thank you all for the help. I grow them under light and will raise this higher. It has tons of leaves and i did not realize it missing light.
Another question -
Do you spray your violets?

You might already know that leaves are not to be wet so I put water and weak fert. in a pan and set avs in it for awhile till soil is moist and let them drain. My mom and others did this with great results. I'm sure watering directly on the soil and avoiding leaves works as well. Since the leaves are hairy, they seem to retain water too long and die off. I've read that if you must clean them, take a violet leaf and use it to wipe off another leaf. But watering as suggested will avert soiled leaves.
