Thanks! I like documenting in photos whenever I can how the blooms form and come out...helps me remember what conditions were like, especially if it is a first time bloom in our garden. Have been miserable in my previous attempts, feels great to see good blooms and growth for a change.

So nice! I planted 5 cuttings in May this year, hope to have some flowers like yours next year. Now temperature is dropping, wonder when I should move it indoor.

Berrybee, I move mine in when they start to drop there leaves or if temps drop below 40 at night, I all so watch for frost warnings. I keep mine in a cool basement that stays around 60 all winter and water very little, I'm sure some one else in your zone might be a little more helpful I'm in zone 5/6

My Plumie Celadine is taking its sweet time to really return to active growing. Our temps in May has been mildly cool than usual. It has more leaves in winter than now, but it is thankfully growing new ones. The older leaves had been dropped, only one old leaf is remaining. I am glad it was able to overcome a vicious bite on two of the growing tips, probably from some snails. So right now waiting for the warm to hot temperatures to really get this plant going again.

I have the same plant given to me at a raffle draw last fall , since i have grow lights in my basement , i already have 4 full leaves and more to come , its a neat plant and mine is shaped like a giant Y with nodes coming off each tip , its on the patio now getting full sun each day and fertilized once a month , how about yours ?

That is good Steve! I have been giving it some water now, not a lot, since temps are cool and have been waiting for the new leaves to be at least fully open, before I start giving it any fertilizer. It has been on my patio so just waiting for a really good warm-up. If this week heats up nicely by weekend, maybe I can start increasing water and give it fertilizer too. Just so dry here, so once those leaves are showing well, this plumie can drink all it can!

I can only keep this plant in a container since we get cold winter temps, though last year was really mild. Perhaps before next winter, I can cut this plant in 2 so I will not have a very tall plant that is hard to move.
