A friend passed this along on Facebook. This made me laugh so hard! My mom sounded exactly like this when I was younger (and still does sound like that actually!). She was dead laughing too! Sorry, I don't know why the video is so far down below the post!
have our parents and haven't for a number of years. We have both been frustrated by her nieces (eighteen and twenty one) and we were talking one day, saying that if we put our parents through as much, we wished that we could apologize for all the things we did. I guess when you get older, you have a tendency to reflect back on younger days and the things you did that frustrated your folks.
I love my parents (dead father, living mother) but I can laugh anyway about the way they used to behave (or still do)
some months ago, my mother came to visit me in Switzerland, and somehow she was getting on my nerves trying to organize my life in Switzerland the way she thought it should be (but according to her venezuelan rules). My Nephew was with her and watching the whole situation, and said to me: Ramon, think about it "Mother! there is only one!!!" to what I answered (with a smile) "THANKS GOD!! two like this would drive me crazy!" My mother stop speaking looked at me, and exploded laughing (the same for me and my nephew) and added "wow... to be honest i think I am behaving like my own mother when she came to visit my house for the first time!" After that, we all enjoyed her holidays in Switzerland as we had never ever enjoyed a couple of days together since years...
