Default Summer is coming to the southern hemisphere
I always know when summer is coming to the southern hemisphere when Mesembs burst into flower and fields of Namaqualand daisies.
I beleive the pic's of mesembs are called Dorotheanthus, while the yellow and orange flowers are called Namaqualand Daisies, both spring flowers native to South Africa.

thanks for reminding me that Winter is on its way here and per Farmers Almanac, its going to be very cold !

we called mesems Livingstone Daisies - I fondly remember them as really easy to grow and spectacular.
