This is an older plant, easily 15-20 years, with leaves over 1 meter and in a 40 cm diameter pot.
It grows in some sandy old potting mix that probably hasn't been changed in years. It sits in the southeast corner of a sunroom and receives morning and afternoon sun. It is somewhat neglected and only gets a good watering every couple of weeks at most, but nonetheless, it is blooming.
I wouldn't have even noticed if I hadn't been inspecting some other houseplants near it last night. A whiff of citrus and jasmine caught my attention, and I was stunned to discover this plant in bloom. It has a powerful fragrance only at night; so sweet and pungent that if I get too close, it almost gives me a headache!
So without further ado...enjoy!
