thanks you all again for your kindness as always...

things have been difficult and this is going to improve things considerably. Im going to miss all my sisters kids and grandkids being around and Im looking forward to that

but yeah I will post a final pic of the greenhouse before I start tearing it down. mercy me it doesnt take apart as easy as I would like but Ive done it a few times now I know how its done. All the fun comes with not knowing what to do. If I knew what I was doing i wouldnt have so much fun ya know

in less than 8 hours I will be the proud new owner of my 1st home at age 55...

I just happened to listen to a program that said people who have none or very little retirement or had no choise to join a 401k plan, that the best thing they can do for themselves right now is buy a home and lock in the low interest rates for 30 years... Exactly what I did.

I still cant believe Macys turned me down for credit but I can get a home financed. go figger

and oh yes I wont be buying any of my home furnishings etc etc etc at Macys

what a life changing moment....Ill probably throw up when I sign the papers today

Good luck, I remember how nervous I was the day I signed the papers for mine.

Wow, locked in interest rates for that long is amazing. In this country 2 or 3 years is normal, 5 if you are very lucky and pay an big upfront 'arrangement free'. You used to be able to get longer ones occasionally, but they all disappeared when the rates dropped, no lender was willing to lock them in that low for a long period.

Growing space never is tooo big.
And the process from planning over building to moving in and occupy a house is one of the big thrills in life.
I'm happy for you.
