Is this a succulent? I'm not too lazy to look it up but since you asked...! Guess it has the same effect as beer does with slugs?! And what orchid critters are drawn to this plant?

I don't think it's a suculent, the leaves are not very thick, in fact actually quite thin, but they are covered in sticky hairs which catch flies.

No, Dea,. While they are not bog plants, by and large, neither are they succulents like cacti, jades and such.
