Yes, it is definitely a time consuming hobby, but I can't help myself

. I have currently seen 243 bird species in the state of NY just for the year 2014, 281 in the last 5 years. I managed to see 157 just in the month of May, also only in NY state. I was also crazy enough to go out birding this last bitterly frigid January that we had, and I totaled 116 species in that month, also just in NY state. I guess I do get obsessive about things.

Cool, l remember discussing with you about wheather you needed a new one or could get more out of your current one. Glad you were able to stay with the old one, much cheaper! These pictures are wonderful!
