Congrats Gregg! About the dinner thing and being careful what you eat, join the club. Story of my life! Your news is wonderful and you must feel like a new man! Don't overdue, but at the same time, kick some butt and take names!

Thanks
Apparently I have to. I have gained 12 pounds since my December visit (Almost 2 months to the day) I guess they don't consider muscle weight.

Going on Friday
to my brother's house to exercise. It's about damn time!! Doc said yesterday that I could start back over there then. It has really sucked trying to work out here at home. No bench, no lat machine, no treadmill.

Well, today is the day! I bet I will be sore tomorrow.
I have been anxiously awaiting this day. I have 44 sets to do today plus I will try to do the treadmill for 3 miles. It is a good thing that I have plenty of time to do it. Should take three or four hours.

It took a couple of days past the last post
but I couldn't move. I hadn't done anything very involved for so long that I overdid things. I have switched things around since then, to the point that I am lifting for about one hour and then getting on the treadmill for one hour to an hour and fifteen minutes, depending on what I feel like doing. I have all ready walked 43 miles in March.

Hey Gregg, I applaud you for your continued efforts to get back to where you once was physically, but please don't get frustrated and overdo like that! Sometimes the hardest thing is not being so hard on yourself. Glad to hear you learned from overdoing. You're doing the stuff of major athletes...kudos to you!

Well, all I can say is that fear is a good motivator
I worry about my blood sugar, especially at night. It seems that this is when the prednisone that I have to take kicks in and raises my blood sugar. If you couple that with whatever carbohydrates I eat at dinner time, it is not hard to understand why I want so badly to keep it down. I do not want diabetes at all, and unfortunately, that is one of the dangers I am facing.

Thank You, Sue
I am heading back over this morning, just for treadmill work-no weight workout until tomorrow. Today is one of my easy days.

Well, I am trying to recover from being sick.
For about the last five days, I have been fighting bronchitis. Hopefully, by the time my medication runs out, I will be over it-by Sunday. I haven't been working out for a week. I think when I get through with this, I am going back for a short period of time to having a personal trainer to give me some ideas for some abdominal exercises. I have finally started to lose some weight, now I need to do ab work.
