I skipped my treadmill yesterday for a break
I am going to hit it harder today, as a result. I have found that if I turn on the TV and turn it to my favorite blues station on the dish, that the walking is enjoyable.

I have to do so
I talked with the post transplant coordinator the other day. Even though I have been exercising, I have not lost weight, I have gained it. One thing about having the transplant is that there is a certain amount of swelling that is there because of the incision plus, the prednisone that I will be taking forever makes you swell. But I plan on keeping at it. Sometimes, before you start to lose weight, you gain it because you first start to build muscle. In any case, I'll put on the blues and sweat with the oldies.

Not if you're getting the same storm we are getting tomorrow. Today is sunny and a balmy 30F degrees.
Tomorrow is suppose to be a rather large snowstorm with winds and all that fun stuff. You can tell too, the grocery stores are packed today. My exercise will consist of indoor housework tomorrow. kiki

Actually, I have been to the store.
We are supposed to get upwards of ten inches tonight and into tomorrow. I finished up my treadmill for the month today. I was hoping that I would make 80 miles for the month. I only made 73. There was one or two days in there that I did not get on the treadmill that I probably should have, but sometimes you just feel tired.

Well, due to the weather late last week
and the Orchid Show this weekend, I really will have to bust a** this coming week in working out. I have a bunch of new exercises to do that I was not doing before because they told me that at the beginning of this month, I could start light ab work, plus in going back through my training manual, I refreshed myself about what I was doing before the transplant. I have been doing about 13 different exercises. I have found a way to double that, if I do all of the exercises. I will probably not do all of them, though and if I am going to add some, I will do it slowly because I already walk three miles every time I lift.

Wow, I started out okay, but
my brother has had the flu and when I talked with the post transplant coordinator after she had visited with the doctor, they said it would be a couple of weeks before they want me to go over there to exercise! I have a few dumbbells and barbells at home, but it has made working out very difficult, especially since my treadmill is over there and we have snow on the ground.

Latest health update
They have cut my anti-rejection meds and my prednisone. I have to watch closer what I eat at dinner time and go back to hitting the exercises hard. I must say that I am pleased about all except the dinner . Oh well. I will persevere!!
