Default My Arisaemas

Here are some pics of the Arisaemas from my yard. As of 3 years ago I made a vow to plant nothing in the ground on my property that isn't native to SE PA, unless I can eat it, my bog garden excepted. First pic is of the common Jack in the Pulpit, Arisaema triphyllum just emerging from its winter's rest. This is its third season in the ground. Second pic is of the much rarer Arisaema dracontium, aka The Green Dragon, which I planted last weekend:

Nice! My neighbour has some growing as well and I've seen some wild ones around too..I feel like asking the neighbour for some divisions (or however they work).

I love Arisaemas!! Aroids are one my favourite plant families. I tried growing some from seed a few years back, none of the seedling made it past a few months though.
