Hoya Shooting Star in bloom

My Hoya Shooting Star..my favorite among the three I have since, it is the only one that blooms easily
This is its 2nd flush of blooms for this year...really generous!

I love Hoyas. That one is very nice. Good growing.

Nope, just same light levels as Phals. Growing indoors. It is planted in soil in a container, and I actually keep it in standing water..it likes that much water..otherwise, if it gets drier, it will start dropping the blooms..then the peduncles. In some sense it behaves like a Phal, how Phals old spike can grow another set of buds, this one does the same on its peduncles, so I never cut the peduncle unless it dries out on its own.

Have always like the flowers on Hoya multiflora ... too bad the plant gets so large. Are the flowers fragrant?

Had to check and see if there is a scent..nope..so far none.

But somehow I remember it has one..maybe it depends what time of day..

The flowers are really pretty!
I have had a hoya for many years but I keep it rather dry. Perhaps that is the reason I never get any flowers....

My other hoyas have not bloomed either..I guess my lack of humidity here..and cannot make them sit in water as their leaves are more succulent than this Hoya shooting star.

I finally got my cutting of H. imbricata to start putting on some new growth. it's been languishing for several months. At this rate I might even live to see it bloom!

I lost my Hoya pubicalyx this winter..should have brought it in..underestimated its cold tolerance. My Hoya carnosa 'Krimson Queen' on the other hand survived quite well. Then there is this other one Hoya kerrii variegata, it overwintered nicely, and is now in shade outdoors. I do not know if I will even see these ones bloom but their foliage makes up for their lack of blooms for now.
