I get much sketchier ads when I use the Google Chrome browser. So much for Google's ability to collect accurate data on its users!
I uninstalled Chrome yesterday, and neither Explorer nor Firefox seems to be sending me ads for trafficked women. However, on my recently purchased Windows tablet, I spent some time looking for a band saw on Amazon, posting on a concrete art forum, posting on OB and Slippertalk, and playing a couple of math puzzle games. So obviously, I'm a man who is unable to form normal relationships with women, so I got an ad for fully dressed mail order Asian brides - a very small improvement over barely dressed Asian girls with huge implants.
Explorer actually allows users to opt out of ads from certain ad agencies, and you need to list which ones. Google just asks you for your profile information, and then ignores it. I had to guess, by the ad agency names, which ones to opt out of - and I think I got it right. If the absence of trafficking ads continues, I will post the agencies I opted out of.
