like you would an African violet leaf. Snip the whole leaf as close to the base as possible, then "plant" in the mix with just about 1/3 of the stem covered. The leaf can stand upright or flop over the sides of a 2in pot. I tried both ways and it doesn't appear to matter. I keep pot sphag moist with distilled water - easy if you stand pot in a saucer that you fill regularly. These are under lights.
I even tried pollinating a flower, but propagation through leaf cuttings MUCH easier. As your one matures, they also develop "keikis" that you can separate and grow on separately. IF ONLY growing orchids was this easy
I would snip a couple of the outer leaves of yours....experiment....its old enough to flower, its old enough to make babies !
