cool plants they are...I just cant get them to grow for me they always rot. Even tried orchid mix and orchid fertilizer on them . Still got rot.

Funny how I can get the spanish moss ( Tillandsia usneoides) to grow everywhere....... Air plants should be a clue hey as to how to grow these?

Mine is mounted in a hollow on a piece of drift wood. No media whatsoever. For water I mist it lightly every dsy, with one or two heavier wettings each week.

Mine is in spag moss but I never water the base. I only mist the leaves with distilled water every other day or so. I fertilize with special tillandsia mist on the leaves once in awhile.
