Nice Little Rack!

I was out looking to see if any wildflowers were blooming yet (no) and came across these little guys. I've found a couple of shed antlers in this area over the past few years, but never two on the same walk, let alone a left and a right that could have come off the same animal!

Pretty cool and they probably did come from the same deer. Much of the time once one sheds you will find the other near by. I love it when we find sheds. I turn pens and I use them to make antler pens.

I'm going to use these on something. Not sure what, but I'll find something that can use a matching set of handles.

I have only ever found one set of antlers together. I am thinking of having them put on a plaque. I have found many antlers but only one pair.

I found this about 10 years ago. I used to have it hanging on the wall at our old place. It was in almost perfect condition then, just missing a couple teeth. The delicate bones of the snout got broken during our move.
