It's been noted here in my kneck of the woods that first "warm" days in spring (temps like 40s) folks run around in shorts and t-shirts
First cool days of fall, we put on all the fleece we own.
Think it's what one is used to. I can remember going down to St. Pete to visit Dad and Mom during Jan or Feb and sitting out in shorts and t-shirt trying for a quick tan
and they were in sweaters and/or jackets. It was like 60s.
