Mine grew ok leaves last year, no flower. This year it is growing huge leaves, but still no bloom. Any advice? Growing it in the greenhouse.

I don't understand what you mean by ok leaves.
If your bulb is of flowering size, then it should make about 7-12 leaves each growing season.

I also do not know what conditions it is getting in your greenhouse, so I cannot tell you anything other than that amaryllis does best in full sun all day and good watering and fertilizing.

We will see when it blooms!

Hopefully you can pinpoint its name.
Maybe not though. Looks pretty standard.

My amaryllis just finished blooming. I picked it up from the grocery store for Christmas (didn't bloom until late, late, late February), and originally planned on chucking it, but I might try to save it. Two stalks, four flowers per stalk. I wish I had a picture of it in full bloom, but never got around to it.

This is from March 2.

Gorgeous!

Mine has unexpectedly changed it's mind and looks like I'm going to get two spikes (one on each bulb). Unusually the leaves grew first, then after there were lots of them spikes started.

I am only getting leaves after the flowers have melted off. I've left the stalks for now, but five leaves are shooting up in between. My last one had leaves first too.

Mine have had the leaves first in the past, so I thought I wouldn't get flowers this year. No idea why it's going the other way around this time.

Mine bloomed.
It's disappointing this year. One of the scapes blasted four unknown reasons.
And the other scape. The flowers aren't as full as last time.

It is scented though. Who knew?

I would safely guess your white one is Alfresco.
Should be lightly scented.

It is my favorite white amaryllis.
Not to be mean, but yours is rather poor in flower quality. If you get a chance to see nice ones, oh, my, it is gorgeous!!!

Very nice red!!!

I would definitely try and save it as well.

Is it Red Lion? It looks like a very nice Red Lion.
